Specialized tool is required to make one end of rigid tubing into flange edge. The tubing will not be twisted if the fitting is rotated; thereby there will be no gas leakage caused by tubing twisting. The flange edge will be extruded to contact with one end of female thread, forming a contact seal. For the standard flanged fitting, the part to contact with liquid is tubing.

 Applied to rigid tubing (e.g. PTFE, FEP tubing): OD 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.2mm
